Senior Consultant / Manager – General Insurance Claims Transformation

The opportunity

As a Senior Consultant or Manager in General Insurance Claims Transformation, you will play a hands on role helping insurers transform their claims capabilities across personal and commercial lines to deliver improved customer outcomes, operational efficiency, and measurable business value.

You will work across the end to end claims lifecycle, partnering with clients to design and deliver future state, AI enabled claims solutions and contributing to or leading defined workstreams within broader transformation programs.

The role involves collaborating within multidisciplinary, international teams and is based in Warrang – Sydney and Naarm – Melbourne, with flexible working options available.

Your key responsibilities

• Act as a General Insurance claims domain specialist across the end-to-end claims lifecycle, from FNOL through to settlement, recovery, and subrogation.
• Lead and deliver business analysis and solution design activities, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, and functional artefacts.
• Design future-state claims processes and AI-enabled use cases such as intelligent triage, automation, document processing, analytics, and decision support.
• Own or contribute to defined claims transformation workstreams, accountable for quality, outcomes, and value realisation.
• Coordinate with onshore, offshore, and global teams to manage dependencies, risks, and delivery alignment across locations.

Skills and attributes for success

• Proven experience in General Insurance, with strong end-to-end claims knowledge and practical transformation experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering claims transformation initiatives, including platform implementation, process redesign, or digital enablement.
• Practical understanding of AI-enabled claims solutions, including automation, decision support, analytics, and document processing.
• Experience working with international or cross-border stakeholders within global delivery models.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor others and drive outcomes.
