The opportunity
The CBS Data Office is expanding enablement of Collibra capabilities to support Global Data Traceability & Compliance (GDT&C) objectives across CBS. This role provides hands-on enablement support for Collibra configuration, metadata onboarding, workflow execution, and adoption activities under the guidance of CBS Data Office leadership.
Your key responsibilities
The GDT&C Enablement – Supervising Associate will be responsible for:
- Supporting Collibra enablement activities across CBS domains, collaborating with key stakeholders across CBS functions
- Assisting with onboarding of new domains and use cases into Collibra, including metadata setup, establishing configuration and integration standards
- Supporting business glossary development, stewardship activities, and data ownership models
- Assisting with workflow configuration and execution support in Collibra, under defined governance standards
- Supporting data traceability and compliance use cases, including documentation and evidence support
- Partnering with Data Governance leads to support training, enablement materials, and adoption efforts
- Providing operational support for Collibra configuration, testing, and validation activities
- Contributing to documentation, playbooks, and knowledge transfer artifacts
- Supporting coordination with platform, risk, and governance stakeholders as part of enablement execution
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Hands‑on experience supporting data governance or metadata enablement activities in an enterprise environment
- Practical exposure to Collibra or similar data governance / catalog platforms, including metadata onboarding and content curation
- Strong understanding of business glossaries, data ownership, and stewardship concepts
- Ability to support workflow execution, testing, and operational tasks under defined governance standards
- Strong documentation skills, including creation of process guides, playbooks, and enablement materials
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and support multiple workstreams in parallel
- Attention to detail and discipline when supporting traceability, compliance, and evidence‑based activities
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Prior experience supporting Collibra workflows, operating models, or role‑based enablement
- Exposure to data traceability, access governance, or compliance‑related initiatives
- Experience working in a shared‑services / GDS delivery model supporting global stakeholders
- Familiarity with onboarding or supporting multiple business domains (e.g., Finance, Talent, Risk, C&I)
- Experience assisting with testing, validation, and release readiness activities for platform enablement
- Exposure to Collibra‑assisted metadata features, such as automated classification, suggested assets, or relationship recommendations
- Awareness of how automation and AI‑assisted capabilities can improve metadata completeness and consistency under defined governance controls
