Your key responsibilities

  • Job Title: Oracle PBCS/EPBCS Consultant
  • Level: Consultant to Manager
  • Experience: 8 years++ preferably
  • Location: Bangalore preferably and then GGN.
  • Joining : Immediate / less than 30 days.

Below are the key details for the job descriptions:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using Oracle PBCS / EPBCS / Hyperion Planning, with a strong focus on Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting processes.
  • Analyse financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and functional consultants to convert business requirements into effective Oracle EPM designs.
  • Develop and maintain business rules, calculation scripts, and allocation logic using Calc Manager and Essbase calculations.
  • Design and manage multi‑dimensional data models, including dimensions, hierarchies, and metadata structures.
  • Perform performance tuning and optimization of Planning and Essbase applications.
  • Build and manage data integrations using Data Management, FDMEE, ODI, and flat‑file / source system interfaces.
  • Support process automation to improve planning cycle efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Ensure secure user provisioning, access control, and security design across Planning applications.
  • Participate in testing phases (SIT, UAT), deployment activities, and production readiness.
  • Provide ongoing application support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain functional and technical design documents, configuration workbooks, and process flows.
  • Train end users and provide post‑implementation and operational support.
  • Communicate effectively with users and management, presenting technical concepts in a clear and business‑focused manner.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience with Oracle PBCS/EPBCS implementations.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, reporting).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred: Candidates with Engineering or MCA or MBA or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualifications.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
