About Global Delivery Services
Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.
Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Workday Accounting Hub Manager with expertise in financial process transformation and system integration. Skilled in configuring accounting rules, designing workflows, and managing high-volume data integrations for accurate revenue, expense, and ledger postings.
Proven track record in testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and delivering advanced support. Experienced in building financial dashboards, ensuring GAAP compliance, and partnering with auditors for governance.

Your Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis And Solution Design
- Manage and maintain the Workday Accounting Hub (WAH) setup, including charts of accounts mapping, accounting rules, and posting logic.
- Ensure accurate integration between operational systems (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Procurement, Expenses, Projects) and the General Ledger within Workday.
- Create and maintain accounting transformations to support new business processes and entities.
- Oversee data flow between subledgers and the Workday Accounting Hub to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting entries.
- Perform reconciliation between source system data and GL postings to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with IT and system owners to resolve integration issues promptly.
- Ensure all Workday accounting journals are posted and reconciled within the close timelines.
- Validate accounting entries for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies.
- Support accruals, reclassifications, and intercompany postings through Workday journals.
- Generate Workday financial reports and dashboards (Balance Sheet, P&L, Trial Balance) to support controllership and FP&A teams.
- Analyze journal posting trends, exceptions, and variances to ensure financial integrity.
- Support management with ad-hoc queries and audit requirements using Workday reporting tools.
- Participate in Workday releases, testing, and change requests related to Accounting Hub modules.
- Drive process improvements and automation of journal entries, allocations, and reconciliations within Workday.
- Partner with technology and global finance teams to streamline R2R processes and improve efficiency.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday accounting configurations and workflows.
- Provide training and guidance to finance users on Workday accounting functionalities and best practices.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Workday Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Management, and Workday Accounting Center.
- Accounting & Finance Knowledge: Strong understanding of core accounting principles, financial processes, and compliance standards. Advanced skills in MS Excel for developing Mock Ups for clients. Strong understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory requirements.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in data integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIBs, and APIs, along with report development and data analysis capabilities. Expertise in system administration, user access management, and BAU support
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret complex requirements, troubleshoot system issues, and deliver innovative, scalable solutions. Strong experience of FP&A with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, cross-functional teams (HR, IT), and key stakeholders.
- Project Management: Competence in managing multiple priorities, leading deliverables, and supporting full implementation cycles.
- Certifications: Workday Pro certifications in Financials or Accounting Center modules highly preferred.
- Education: Master’s-degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) · Certification in key finance Data Analytics tool (e.g. KNIME and Alteryx) (Workday Financials Certification) · Certification in Workday Integration Certification , Workday HCM Certification
