The Global Rotation Tool (GRT) Supervising Associate assists in monitoring GRT data, ensuring that Independence policies for regulatory rotations (RR) and LA are appropriately reflected in the US GRT. The role includes regular updates and monitoring of GRT engagement team data in accordance with Assurance Pre-Approval protocols as well as helping to design enhancements to GRT functionality, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new GRT functionality, and executing GRT controls to maintain system integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of 10+ GRT members which includes a mix of onshore and offshore resources (e.g., AOA, GDS) on data entry and monitoring projects
- Engage with various stakeholders including engagement team members and individuals from client technology, independence, professional practice and the Quality Network.
- Develop an understanding of Independence RR and LA policies, as well as assurance partner assignment and pre-approval policies to effectively support GRT, address engagement team inquiries, and determine when consultation with Independence is necessary.
- Identify and resolve moderate complexity problems related to data integration across various tools that supply data to GRT.
- Execute GRT QC 1000 controls, ensuring thorough documentation of data completeness and accuracy, along with clear evidence demonstrating conclusions that align with and comply with independence and assurance policies, including detailed records of procedures performed and conclusions reached.
- Perform daily updates to GRT and manage data accuracy
- Conduct research to update GRT data from FACT, PACE, Mercury, and GIS
- Develop an understanding of GIS restrictions and their implications on GRT.
- Educate engagement teams on GRT functionality, basic Independence requirements and assurance policies to drive timely and accurate data updates.
- Generate and analyze reports from GRT, PACE, FACT, Mercury and Power BI to monitor data accuracy and compliance issues, summarizing findings.
Skills and attributes for success
- Organizational Awareness: Understanding of the firm's business structure, dynamics, and operations, particularly within the Assurance practice.
- Project Management Skills: Exceptional capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Technological Proficiency: Regular use of Alteryx and advanced skills in the Microsoft suite of tools for data integration and monitoring procedures. Proficient in using AI tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot, with strong skills in brainstorming and generating innovative ideas to leverage AI for enhancing efficiency in data analysis and detecting data discrepancies.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on clear and effective exchange of information.
- Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to understand complex issues and identify interconnections between problems.
- Knowledge of setting up and managing outlook mailboxes, SharePoint sites and Teams channels.
- Familiarity with Power BI and Power Apps for data visualization and business intelligence insights; willingness to learn and enhance skills in this area is required.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Bachelor’s degree, or relevant experience in a related field required.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $72,600 to $135,700. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $87,100 to $154,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
