The EY.ai Data Marketplace is a platform built and operated by EY’s Growth & Innovation – Applied Innovation portfolio under EY’s Global Data Office. The EY.ai Data Marketplace ingests, governs and distributes external, commercial, and open data across EY's Service Lines and platforms.

Currently, the EY.ai Data Marketplace operates 46 data products across a variety of sources, our estate has over 130 million files, and we deliver over 1 TB of data per week to all EY’s Service Lines with tens of thousands of weekly API calls.

Our team spans Australia, Europe and India, serving global consumers with a focus on data integrity, security, and governance. Our product structure is divided into 3 primary pillars:

  • Ingestion: The Ingestion team is responsible for developing the core platform pipelines to extract, transform and load data into our estate whilst applying our governance principles. The ingestion team develops both the inbound core platform capabilities and infrastructure as well as applying them in the creation of individual data product pipelines which we operate to supply EY with our rich estate of data.
  • Consumption: The Consumption team is responsible for developing the capabilities that enable EY’s products and Service Line practitioners to discover, explore and consume our estate of data. This includes components such as our APIs, our User Interface and our Connectors that enable products and people to access our data in a safe and secure manner.
  • Activation: The Activation team is responsible for helping customers discover and use our platform. This covers a range of activities from conducting customer demos and producing customer facing materials, to gathering their requirements to augment our product backlog, through to operational account management to keep product and platform consumers aware of our product development timings, upcoming changes and maintenance windows.
