The opportunity

As EY GDS continues to scale its Microsoft BizApps practice, we are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Go‑To‑Market Lead (Senior Manager) to lead presales strategy, solution qualification, and opportunity shaping across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 portfolio.

This senior leadership role is accountable for owning the presales lifecycle—from discovery and qualification through solution alignment and commercial scoping—and for acting as the primary interface between Sales and Delivery.

Your key responsibilities

Go‑To‑Market & Presales Leadership:

  • Lead functional and technical discovery, qualification, and solution mapping for new Microsoft Dynamics 365 sales opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Sales and Delivery for presales project definition and scoping.
  • Support all presales requests across the full Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite, including D365 F&O, CE, Power Platform, Business Central and related modules.
  • Conduct initial assessments to understand client readiness, needs, and solution fit.
  • Develop rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates and budget assumptions.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams from EY member firms to deliver value‑driven solution presentations that qualify opportunities and articulate business outcomes.

Solution Discovery & Design:

  • Perform in‑depth discovery of prospective clients’ current and target functional and operational requirements.
  • Define solution scope aligned to industry best practices and Microsoft Dynamics 365 capabilities.
  • Conduct technical qualification of prospects’ business management systems, integrations, and cloud readiness.
  • Design solutions that address business problems, focusing on solution outcomes rather than product features.

Demonstrations & RFP Support:

  • Create and deliver solution‑focused demonstrations, including setup and configuration of demo environments.
  • Support and contribute to RFP and proposal responses, including solution architecture, scope, assumptions, and value propositions.
  • Partner with Microsoft and internal stakeholders to leverage best practices and accelerator assets.

Sales‑to‑Delivery Transition:

  • Ensure a smooth handover of technical knowledge, scope, and key relationships to the D365 Services and Delivery teams once contracts and Engagement Letters are finalized.
  • Maintain continuity and quality by supporting early delivery phase alignment when required

Skills and attributes for success

  • 12–15+ years of experience in consulting, enterprise applications, or business transformation roles.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 presales, solution architecture, or go‑to‑market leadership.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Business Applications ecosystem, including cloud‑based delivery models with emphasis on business process transformation.
  • Experience conducting functional and technical discovery, solution scoping, and effort estimation.
  • Readiness to participate in MS DYNAMICS 365 Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities.
  • Hands-on approach to collaborating with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new MS DYNAMICS 365 solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.
  • Willingness to report the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post-implementation review.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Cloud experience, preferably within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Exceptional executive‑level communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose problems, evaluate options, and propose improvements.
  • Flexible mindset with the ability to work across the full technology stack and continuously expand skillsets.
