About The Job

The Digital Business Advisory (DBA) team works with leading organizations across the region to solve complex challenges across customer experience, data, analytics, automation, and AI‑enabled programs. As organizations increasingly adopt data‑driven and AI‑enabled decision-making, we are investing in talent that can support both analytical delivery and broader transformation initiatives.

The Opportunity
Technology Consulting is a fast‑growing service line within EY, supporting large‑scale enterprise programs across Digital, Data, and AI. Within this, the Digital Business Advisory (DBA) practice plays a key role in enabling digital and AI transformation programmes, from shaping strategy to supporting implementation and value realization.
As an Assistant, you will collaborate closely with experienced consultants across multiple engagements, contributing to AI use‑cases, AI governance, process reengineering and digital transformation programmes while developing exposure to real client environments.
This role offers the opportunity to:
- Work on enterprise AI and transformation initiatives
- Gain hands-on exposure to AI use cases, data‑driven insights and process optimisation.
- Build foundational skills in data, digital journeys/workflow, business processes and use‑case structuring.
- Develop awareness of data quality, AI governance and controls required to scale AI initiatives.
- Work alongside consultants, analysts, and technologists to support end‑to‑end delivery of digital, data, and AI‑enabled programs.
Your Key Responsibilities
As an assistant, you will support initiatives across data analytics, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence. The role is suited to early‑career professionals or graduates who are keen to build strong foundations in data, technology, and AI while working alongside experienced consultants to deliver practical, business‑focused solutions.
You will:
- Engagement Support & Delivery - Support teams across different phases of client engagements, including research, analysis, documentation, and preparation of client deliverables.
- Analytics & AI Use‑Case Support - Contribute to analytics and AI‑enabled initiatives, including use‑case identification, data classification, reporting automation, and basic AI applications/tools.
- Business Requirements & Process Understanding - Assist in requirements gathering, workflow mapping, documentation of business and technical needs and process optimisation/re‑engineering analysis to support delivery.
- Data Analysis & Visualisation - Assist in developing dashboards, reports, and visual outputs (e.g. Databricks, Power BI, Excel) to support decision-making and business insights.
- AI Governance & Responsible AI Support - Contribute to activities related to AI governance, including awareness of data quality, controls, ethical considerations, and responsible AI practices under guidance.
- Data Readiness for AI Initiatives - Support teams in assessing and strengthening data readiness for AI use cases, including data availability, quality, governance, and ownership considerations.
- Client & Team Collaboration - Work with multi‑disciplinary teams across business, data, technology, and advisory functions to support delivery of end‑to‑end initiatives.
- Deliverables & Communication - Prepare client‑ready presentations, dashboards, reports, and status updates with clear, structured, and insightful content.
- Learning & Development - Build foundational knowledge in data, digital, AI, and consulting through on‑the‑job experience, training, and mentorship.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in technology (Business with MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related fields)
- Understanding of data and digital concepts with interest in AI and emerging technologies.
- Basic understanding of workflows and core technology concepts (APIs, integrations & cloud platform) at a conceptual level, enabling effective collaboration with delivery teams.
- Exposure to emerging technologies, AI tools and agents, automation concepts and modern digital platforms (academic or project experience accepted).
- Interest or coursework in cloud platforms, data engineering, or AI ethics/responsible AI
- Familiarity with Agile or project delivery environments
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast‑paced consulting environment.
- Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow in Digital, Data and AI domains.
