Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SAP Group Reporting professional to manage end-to-end Group Reporting implementations and consolidation activities. The role involves leading project teams, overseeing statutory and management consolidations, and ensuring accurate and compliant group financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP standards.

Group Reporting And Consolidation

• Manage end-to-end SAP Group Reporting implementation projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Lead the preparation, review, and validation of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and year-end group consolidation figures.
• Handle large and complex IFRS consolidation processes and support the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Manage consolidation of business unit performance and deliver periodic management reporting for Actuals, Budgets, and Forecasts.
• Perform analysis of reported figures and follow up with regional finance managers/controllers to resolve discrepancies.
• Support consolidation activities related to new acquisitions, divestitures, and changes in consolidation scope.
• Manage the consolidation of submission entities across the Group to produce a single set of consolidated financial results.

SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting Configuration

• Configure SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting (on-premise or cloud), ensuring alignment with business and statutory requirements.
• Set up and maintain:
• Financial Statement (FS) items and G/L mapping
• Breakdown Categories, Attributes, Sub-items, and Sub-item Categories
• FS Item, Consolidation Unit, Consolidation Group, and other dimension hierarchies
• Balance carryforward rules and currency translation methods
• Inter-unit eliminations, reclassifications, and manual eliminations
• Purchase Method and Equity Method of Consolidation
• Data Monitor and Consolidation Monitor
• Implement activity-based consolidation of investments.
• Integrate SAP Group Reporting with SAP S/4HANA applications, particularly SAP FICO, and advise on scope, limitations, and best practices.

Technical And Functional Support

• Act as a functional consultant for Group Reporting, translating business requirements into functional specifications.
• Provide guidance on technical and accounting (IFRS) questions raised by reporting units.
• Create, enhance, and optimize financial reports used for validation and analysis of reported data.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation across reporting and consolidation processes.

Leadership And Stakeholder Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage project and support teams, ensuring timely task execution and quality delivery.
• Allocate resources effectively, assign tasks, and ensure team members have the required tools and support.
• Oversee performance management and capability development of team members, including mentoring junior consultants or graduates.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and IT teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

Technical And Functional Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Consolidation solutions including SAP BPC, SEM-BCS, EC-CS, FI-LC, BOFC, and ECC.
• Minimum 4/5 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
• Proven experience implementing and managing consolidation projects across multiple legal entities.
• Deep understanding of IFRS and local GAAP accounting standards.
• Strong configuration expertise in legal and management consolidation processes.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience configuring SAP FICO objects (at least one full-cycle project).

Professional And Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to understand client requirements and propose scalable, compliant solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams in complex project environments.

• MBA or Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 10+ years of relevant experience in managing and implementing SAP Consolidation projects (BPC / BCS / EC-CS / BOFC), including at least 4 years on SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
• Experience supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting and consolidation cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver SAP Group Reporting solutions that meet client standards and regulatory requirements.
