Job Description: Health – Platforms & Integration Consultant
Role Overview
We are seeking a Health – Platforms & Integration Consultant with strong expertise in healthcare systems, interoperability standards, and platform integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with EHR platforms, payer systems, and care management solutions, enabling seamless data exchange and secure system interoperability across the healthcare ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support integrations across healthcare platforms including EHR, payer, and care management systems.
- Develop system and integration architecture diagrams for healthcare solutions.
- Work with interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, and EDI.
- Build and support API-based integrations using platforms such as MuleSoft and Azure Integration Services.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to understand system integration requirements.
- Ensure secure data exchange in alignment with healthcare data governance and security standards.
- Support troubleshooting, testing, and validation of integrated healthcare systems.
- Document integration designs, data flows, and technical solution artifacts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in healthcare IT, platforms, or system integration roles.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare platforms including EHR systems and payer platforms.
- Hands-on experience with interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, and EDI.
- Experience working with integration technologies including MuleSoft, Azure, and REST APIs.
- Understanding of healthcare data governance, security, and HIPAA requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with U.S. healthcare payers, providers, or health technology vendors.
- Exposure to cloud-based healthcare platforms and integration architectures.
- Familiarity with clinical data models and healthcare interoperability workflows.
- Prior consulting or client-facing experience.
