Job Name - GDS Consulting DE Innovation & Transformation Leader
Position Summary
The objective of this Partner role is to drive the next wave of Digital Engineering growth through innovation led, AI first transformation, positioning GDS as a strategic transformation partner rather than a scale only delivery engine.
This role exists to increase GDS penetration across Commercial sectors globally from approximately 50% to 60%+ by FY26, by leading transformation strategy, large deal solutioning, disruptive innovation, and ecosystem partnerships.
The Partner will ensure GDS plays a central role in shaping client transformation agendas, not merely executing delivery.
Essential Functions of the job
The scope of the role includes:
- Ownership of the Innovation & Transformation charter for Digital Engineering globally
- Leadership of AI first, platform led, and asset enabled offerings aligned to market demand
- Accountability for large deal transformation solutioning across priority Commercial accounts
- Driving global GTM consistency, deal narratives, and executive level orals for complex pursuits
- Curating and governing strategic alliances and ecosystem partnerships for Digital Engineering
- Acting as the transformation sponsor for top Digital Engineering accounts
- Building market eminence and representing GDS in analyst and industry forums
- This role operates across regions, markets, and service lines and is not confined to any single geography or account.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities
- Solving complex transformation challenges across multi year, multi tower Digital Engineering programs
- Designing differentiated solutions where traditional delivery models are insufficient
- Balancing innovation, risk, and scalability in large deals
- Navigating ambiguity and shaping new offerings ahead of demand
Education & Experience
- Masters degree in Technology required; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- 18–22+ years of experience in Digital Engineering, technology led transformation, driving innovation charter for solutions, thought leasdership, whitepapers and represent GDS in key industry forums
- Demonstrated experience operating at executive steering committee and C suite levels.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Deep expertise in Digital Engineering, technology led transformation, and large scale modernization
- Strong understanding of AI, GenAI, cloud native, data platforms, and modern engineering architectures
- Proven capability in large deal solutioning, transformation design, and value articulation
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of growth economics in technology services
