The Opportunity
As a Project Manager (Manager) within the GDS Transformation Delivery team, you will play a pivotal role in leading client engagements, building high-performing teams, and delivering measurable transformation outcomes. You’ll work with cross-functional teams—spanning business, technology, and operations—to ensure successful planning, execution, and governance of initiatives that enable EY’s strategic vision.
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly driven and collaborative Manager to support the delivery of large-scale business and technology transformation programs across regional and global engagements. The role will focus on program governance, PMO operations, stakeholder coordination, Agile delivery support, AI-driven transformation initiatives, business development, solutioning, and end-to-end execution management across complex transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in enterprise program delivery, transformation governance, ERP/SAP implementations, digital transformation programs, AI initiatives, and consulting-led engagements, with the ability to work across business and technology teams in a fast-paced environment.
The role will also include people leadership responsibilities covering coaching, capability development, team management, and competency growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Transformation Delivery
• Support end-to-end delivery of large-scale transformation programs across multiple workstreams
• Drive program governance, delivery tracking, RAID management, milestone monitoring, and dependency management
• Coordinate with business, technology, change, testing, and deployment teams to ensure aligned execution
• Monitor program health and provide actionable insights to leadership teams
• Support planning and execution across Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models
• Ensure alignment to delivery methodology, quality standards, and governance controls
PMO & Governance
• Establish and manage PMO processes, templates, standards, and reporting cadence
• Facilitate steering committee meetings, leadership reviews, and governance forums
• Consolidate project status, financials, resource utilization, risks, issues, and dependencies across workstreams
• Manage escalation tracking and resolution coordination
• Support resource planning, capacity management, and delivery forecasting
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery processes, governance, and reporting
AI & Innovation Initiatives
• Support delivery and coordination of AI-enabled transformation initiatives, automation programs, or emerging technology engagements
• Contribute to initiatives involving Generative AI, Agentic AI, copilots, workflow automation, or intelligent operational solutions
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Support governance, adoption, and execution tracking of AI-related initiatives across programs and internal competency activities
• Stay informed on emerging AI trends, tools, and enterprise adoption practices relevant to transformation delivery
Stakeholder Management
• Engage with senior stakeholders across business, IT, vendors, and consulting teams
• Build strong working relationships across regional and global teams
• Facilitate workshops, checkpoints, and cross-functional discussions
• Translate complex delivery challenges into concise executive-level updates and presentations
• Liaises between the client and team members to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery
Business Development, Solutioning & Pursuits
• Contribute to business development initiatives, strategic pursuits, and account growth opportunities
• Support solutioning activities including delivery approach, governance model, operating model, and resource planning
• Participate in end-to-end RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, proposal development, effort estimation, and client presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop client-centric transformation solutions and value propositions
• Support capability development through preparation of case studies, methodologies, capability decks, and go-to-market materials
• Identify opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and expansion within existing and prospective engagements
People Management & Team Leadership
• Lead, coach, and mentor team members across transformation and delivery engagements
• Support resource planning, workload management, and team capacity allocation across initiatives
• Drive performance management, development planning, and continuous learning within the team
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and inclusive team culture
• Provide guidance to junior team members on delivery execution, stakeholder management, governance, and consulting practices
• Support hiring, onboarding, and capability development initiatives within the competency or practice
• Encourage innovation, continuous improvement, and adoption of emerging technologies including AI-enabled ways of working
Preferred Experience
• 7–12+ years of experience in Project Management, PMO, Transformation Delivery, or Consulting
• Experience supporting large enterprise transformation or ERP programs
• Exposure to enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar technologies
• Experience supporting AI, automation, Generative AI, or Agentic AI initiatives is highly preferred
• Experience in solutioning, proposal management, and RFP responses
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, hybrid delivery, and PM governance frameworks
• Experience working with regional/global stakeholders across multiple time zones
• Consulting or professional services background is highly preferred
• Experience in finance transformation, digital transformation, or enterprise program delivery is an advantage
