Senior Analyst – (Power platform developer)

Business Unit: UKI Finance

Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the UKI Finance Reporting & Data Analytics team. The primary focus will be to support the UKI across all our Service Lines.

The role will require the individual to provide financial and management information, develop new reports and analysis in collaboration with stakeholders and systematise existing assets. A key part of the role will be presenting this information and analysis to the end user, highlighting variances and actions accordingly.

Candidates will need to demonstrate an understanding of financial analysis work including significant processing and checking. They will need to build credibility and maintain relationships both within the team and the business and have ability to problem solve to overcome constraint.

This role is in a fast-changing evolving environment with several changes taking place to the team’s processes and systems as the firm undertakes a Global Finance Transformation Programme. Therefore, the ideal candidate will need to be flexible and can deal with change on an on-going basis.


Key Skills & Experience
Technical skills - Must Have Skills


  • Extensive hands-on experience developing and supporting Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining Power Automate workflows and business process automation.
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end Power Platform projects, from requirements gathering through to deployment, support, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience administering and maintaining Power Platform environments, including governance, security, permissions, solution deployment, and environment management.
  • Strong knowledge the Microsoft stack including SharePoint, Microsoft O365, Teams,
  • Experience integrating applications using REST APIs, web services, JSON, and authentication methods.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript for application customisation and enhancement.
  • Working knowledge of Python for automation, scripting, and data processing.
  • Strong SQL skills, including query development, stored procedures, and database design principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including data analysis, formulas, Pivot Tables, and reporting.
  • Experience using Git repositories for source control and version management.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps for backlog management, code repositories, release management, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • Strong troubleshooting, support, documentation, and application lifecycle management skills.

  • Experience managing the full project lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with business users, technical teams, suppliers, and senior leadership.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong project planning, prioritisation, and delivery management skills.
  • Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical and business documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.

Nice to Have Skills

  • PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certifications.
  • ITIL knowledge or service management experience.
  • Experience mentoring junior developers.
  • Experience contributing to Power Platform governance frameworks and Centres of Excellence (CoE).
  • Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments.

Key Requirement

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate proven experience delivering and owning end-to-end Power Apps and Power Automate solutions, including design, development, deployment, support, governance, and ongoing maintenance of Power Platform environments. This is the primary requirement for the role.
