This role is designed for candidates who can connect business needs with technology solutions — especially across reporting platforms, data flows, integration architecture and modern wealth technology ecosystems.
The opportunity
As a Wealth Technology Solution Architect, you will work with leading financial institutions on large-scale transformation initiatives across Wealth & Asset Management.
You will help define technology strategies, shape solution architectures and support implementation programmes focused on client reporting, investment data, platform transformation and digital enablement. Working alongside business stakeholders, architects, engineers and delivery teams, you will help organizations improve operational efficiency, reporting capabilities and business outcomes through technology.
Your key responsibilities
- Define target-state solution architectures for Wealth & Asset Management transformation initiatives.
- Design technology solutions supporting client reporting, portfolio reporting, performance reporting and data-driven business processes.
- Analyze current-state technology landscapes, application architectures, integrations and data flows.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable and delivery-ready solution designs.
- Lead architecture workshops and collaborate with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Support platform assessments, technology selection and solution governance activities.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, data architects and testing teams throughout project delivery.
- Define integration patterns, APIs and data exchange mechanisms between business applications.
- Support proposal development, solution shaping and delivery mobilization activities.
- Produce architecture documentation, solution blueprints and implementation roadmaps.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong solution architecture experience within Financial Services environments.
- Ability to design pragmatic and scalable technology solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Strong understanding of reporting, data and integration architectures.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating across both business and technology domains.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 8+ years of experience in Financial Services technology delivery.
- 3+ years of experience in solution architecture, technology architecture or senior technical design roles.
- Experience designing data, reporting, application or integration architectures.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to define target-state solutions.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience within Wealth Management, Asset Management or Investment Operations.
- Exposure to client reporting, portfolio reporting, performance reporting or regulatory reporting solutions.
- Experience with one or more Wealth & Asset Management platforms such as Aladdin, SimCorp, Charles River, FNZ, Broadridge, InvestCloud, Multifonds or eFront.
- Experience with cloud technologies, including Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of modern data platforms and reporting technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks or Power BI.
- Consulting experience gained within a professional services organization.
What we look for
We are looking for individuals who combine strong technical expertise with a business-focused mindset. The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative and capable of solving complex client challenges through practical and scalable technology solutions.
You should be comfortable operating in fast-paced international environments, building trusted relationships with stakeholders and taking ownership of architecture decisions that deliver measurable business value.
