Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
- Data Migration Execution
- Lead and execute data migration activities across one or more Oracle Fusion modules such as Finance, SCM, HCM, PPM and related business domains.
- Prepare, validate and upload data using FBDI, HDL and other standard Oracle Fusion file formats/templates.
- Support data extraction, transformation, cleansing and mapping from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion target structures.
- Perform mock loads, conversion testing, validation, reconciliation and defect resolution across migration cycles.
- Support cutover planning, final data load execution and go-live migration activities. Data Quality, Controls & Reconciliation
- Apply strong data quality checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, uniqueness, consistency and validity of migrated data.
- Perform pre-load and post-load validations, record count checks, exception analysis and business reconciliation.
- Identify data issues, coordinate fixes with source/system owners and track defects through closure. Stakeholder Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate with functional consultants, technical teams and client stakeholders during CRP, SIT, UAT and cutover cycles.
- Document migration approach, source-to-target mappings, data templates, load trackers, issue logs and lessons learned.
- Provide timely status updates, risks, dependencies and next-step recommendations to workstream leads. Required Skills & Experience Experience & Implementation Background
- 4–6 years of overall experience in data migration implementations, preferably within Oracle ERP / Oracle Fusion programs.
- Hands-on experience or strong working understanding of Oracle Fusion data migration concepts, data models and standard templates.
- Experience handling multiple migration cycles including CRP, SIT, UAT, dress rehearsal and cutover. Core Migration Skills
- FBDI (File-Based Data Import) template preparation, validation, upload support and error resolution.
- HDL (HCM Data Loader) file preparation and load support for HCM migration objects, where applicable.
- Source-to-target mapping, transformation rules, data cleansing, duplicate checks and migration readiness validation.
- Strong Excel skills including lookups, pivots, data comparison, formulas, validations and reconciliation trackers. Technical & Analytical Skills
- Ability to analyze large datasets, identify exceptions and support root-cause analysis for failed or rejected records.
- Working understanding of Oracle Fusion import processes, interface tables, error handling and data load dependencies.
- Basic SQL or data analysis capability preferred for extraction validation, source analysis and reconciliation. Consulting Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset for data validation and reconciliation.
- Ability to work in SI-led delivery environments with functional, technical and client teams.
- Clear communication, documentation discipline, ownership mindset and ability to manage workload across migration cycles. Good to Have
- Experience with Oracle Fusion modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, OM, PO, Inventory and HCM.
- Exposure to data migration tools, accelerators, automated validation frameworks or reconciliation utilities.
- Client-facing experience in Oracle Fusion implementation programs, including workshops and status reporting. Expected Outcomes
- Migration templates are prepared, validated and loaded in line with agreed migration plans and module dependencies.
- Data quality and reconciliation issues are identified early, tracked transparently and resolved before cutover.
- Migration cycle documentation, issue logs and learnings are maintained for repeatable and controlled execution.
