Job Summary

We are seeking a Delivery Lead / Microsoft Solution Architect for Pakistan to own end-to-end architecture, delivery governance, and technical decision-making for Microsoft Data & AI / AI-ML consulting engagements.

The role will ensure the successful design and delivery of Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power Platform, Power BI, integration, security, and ML operationalization components in alignment with business requirements, enterprise standards, and Microsoft best practices.

The role will act as the primary technical authority across the project lifecycle, including secure connectivity to on-premise databases and file repositories, data ingestion, data quality, ML model development and deployment, optional Power Automate workflows, optional Power BI reporting, testing, knowledge transfer, and handover to operations.

Experience Requirements

· Minimum 5+ years of relevant Microsoft Data & AI / Solution Architecture experience.

· Experience designing enterprise architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Azure Machine Learning, Power Platform, Power BI, and Azure Integration Services.

· Strong experience defining solution architecture, delivery governance, technical standards, security/access patterns, environment strategy, and integration standards.

· Experience overseeing data ingestion, data quality, curated datasets, ML model deployment, monitoring, and operational handover.

· Experience working with oil & gas, energy, utilities, or industrial clients is preferred.

· Prior consulting experience within EY, Big 4, Microsoft, Avanade, IBM, Accenture, Infosys or similar Technology Consulting environments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

· Design end-to-end Microsoft Data & AI architecture.

· Define Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Power Platform architecture standards.

· Define integration strategy across SAP S/4HANA, SharePoint, SQL Server, Microsoft Teams, and enterprise APIs.

· Guide solution design decisions across data, AI, reporting, automation, integration, and security components.

Delivery Governance

· Lead project governance structure and delivery cadence.

· Drive sprint planning, backlog prioritization, RAID management, and architecture reviews.

· Ensure quality assurance throughout delivery and alignment with agreed technical standards.

· Manage delivery dependencies, technical risks, and operational readiness requirements.

Security & Compliance

· Define security architecture, authentication strategy, authorization model, and data access controls.

· Define environment strategy across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production.

· Ensure solution designs follow approved governance, compliance, access management, and data protection requirements.

Stakeholder Management

· Conduct executive workshops and solution design discussions.

· Engage business and IT stakeholders to validate requirements and priorities.

· Present architecture decisions, risks, and recommendations clearly to client and EY stakeholders.

· Manage client expectations and support business alignment throughout delivery.
