The opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced ACR Manger/Senior Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and providing accurate financial accounting and reporting services across our portfolio of clients operating either in a single country or across multiple regions.
Your key responsibilities
As an Accounting Compliance Reporting Manager/Senior Manager, you’ll will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and submission of Singapore statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and managing the audit process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Skills and attributes for success
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with local IFRS.
- Fund Adminstration which involves understanding fund structures, familiarity with fund accounting standards, and reporting for investment funds. This include tasks like transaction processing, reconciliations and preparing financial statements
- Manage the year-end audit process, including liaising with external auditors.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Managing financials of portfolio of clients e.g. review debtors and WIP lists and take appropriate
- Involving actively in business development and coordinating with the partner to carry out marketing plans for the department
- Formulating and reviewing existing work processes and policies. Identify and recommend improvements in line with current business and regulatory practices.
To qualify for the role you must have
- A degree in finance or accounting; a CPA or similar certification.
- Minimum of 6 - 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on statutory reporting.
- Excellent communication, client service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of local IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Strong spreadsheet skills (MS Excel essential) and good knowledge of MS Word and accounting software
Ideally, you also have
- Experience and knowledge of tax compliance and ERP systems
