The opportunity

The Post Joining Consultant plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional onboarding experience for new hires across the MENA region. As part of EY’s Talent team, you will serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for new joiners from their start date through Day 90, helping them successfully transition into their new role, team, and location.

You will work closely with Recruitment, Immigration, HR Enablement, IT, AWS and business stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding journey while providing guidance on relocation, immigration, compliance requirements and day-to-day onboarding activities. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the employee experience while supporting EY’s commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.

Your key responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new joiners from their start date through Day 90.
  • Proactively engage with new hires prior to their joining date to provide guidance on travel arrangements, required documentation, post-joining medical requirements and onboarding activities.
  • Partner with new joiners to develop a personalized Day 1 plan and ensure they are fully prepared for their first day.
  • Coordinate onboarding readiness, including IT setup, workspace allocation, induction schedules, insurance enrollment and access card arrangements.
  • Support new joiners through immigration, residency and relocation processes, including assistance for accompanying dependents where applicable.
  • Work closely with Immigration, HR, IT, AWS and other support teams to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and local regulatory requirements.
  • Manage GCC immigration coordination and support location-specific onboarding processes across the MENA region.
  • Respond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing guidance and solutions to onboarding-related challenges.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive cases to leadership and relevant stakeholders when required.
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting and system administration related to onboarding activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency and strengthen the new joiner experience.

Ideally, you’ll also

  • Have experience supporting immigration, global mobility or onboarding programs within a multinational organization.
  • Possess knowledge of GCC immigration processes and MENA employment regulations.
  • Have experience working within a shared services, HR operations or talent function.
  • Demonstrate experience supporting change initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Hold an HR-related qualification or specialization.
