Full Stack Developer (Mobile) - Manager

The opportunity

As our Technical Lead / Full Stack (Mobile) Engineer you will be responsible for delivering enterprise-grade digital solutions across web, mobile, cloud, and integration platforms.

This role is ideal for a highly capable engineer who enjoys remaining hands-on with development while also providing technical leadership, mentoring team members, influencing architecture, and driving engineering excellence. The successful candidate will be expected to remain actively involved in software development while providing technical direction across our web, mobile, integration, cloud, and DevOps capabilities.

You will also work closely with product owners, architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

This is a hybrid position based in Boorloo – Perth. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end technical architecture of an offline first field mobile application that integrates with enterprise systems.
  • Lead current state assessment of the solution to review maturity and scalability of the application and assess risks to stabilisation.
  • Define technical direction, drive engineering excellence, mentor developers, and ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, reliable, and supportable while delivering business value.
  • Lead code reviews and architectural decision-making.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability requirements.
  • Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex production issues and provide hands-on technical leadership for platform modernization.
  • Review operational readiness of the product and support root cause analysis and incident management
  • Support estimation, sprint planning, and technical backlog prioritization.
  • Define and maintain solution architecture and engineering standards.
  • Support field workforce mobility requirements and strategic roadmap delivery.
  • Lead the design, development, and support of enterprise applications across web, mobile, APIs, and cloud services.
  • Drive engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Lead solution design for offline-first mobile applications, synchronization frameworks, and field workforce solutions.
  • Design and govern integrations between enterprise platforms including SAP and Azure-based services.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Drive DevOps maturity, CI/CD automation, quality engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and attributes for success

  • 8+ years software engineering experience delivering enterprise applications.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • C#
    • .NET / ASP.NET Core
    • REST API development
    • SQL Server
    • Azure Cloud Services
  • Experience developing and supporting mobile applications using:
    • .NET MAUI
    • MVVM architecture
    • Offline synchronization patterns
  • Experience with modern web technologies such as:
    • Blazor
    • React
    • TypeScript
  • Experience with Azure Integration Services varying ideally across:
    • API Management (APIM)
    • Logic Apps
    • Azure Functions
    • Service Bus
    • Event Grid
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management.
  • Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
  • Strong technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience working in asset-intensive industries such as Mining, Resources, Utilities, or Maintenance Management systems is highly desirable.
