Assistant Director, Experienced Recruiting Manager (GDS-Argentina)

Role Summary

The Assistant Director, Experienced Recruiting Manager, is responsible for leading and developing a team of recruiting professionals supporting experienced hire recruiting activities. This role oversees day-to-day team operations, drives performance and accountability, and serves as a key liaison between the Argentina recruiting team and US Experienced Recruiting leadership.

The successful candidate will build a high-performing, engaged team while ensuring consistent delivery of recruiting activities, adherence to service standards, and alignment with broader TA2 strategies. This leader will balance operational excellence, talent development, and stakeholder management while helping to establish and scale recruiting capabilities within Argentina.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Experienced Recruiting team.
  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, provide coaching and feedback, and support career development planning.
  • Monitor team engagement, participation in learning programs, and adherence to established processes and standards.
  • Support team members in developing future-focused recruiting, sourcing, consulting, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Performance Management & Operational Excellence

  • Monitor productivity, workload distribution, service levels, KPIs, and operational metrics.
  • Identify performance trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and execute action plans to improve team effectiveness and service delivery.
  • Ensure consistent execution of recruiting processes, policies, and quality standards.
  • Report team performance results and insights to US Experienced Recruiting leaders.

Talent Development & Capability Building

  • Identify learning and performance gaps through quality reviews, metrics analysis, and day-to-day observations.
  • Implement coaching, development plans, and training initiatives to address identified gaps.
  • Promote continuous improvement and encourage adoption of leading practices across the team.
  • Help build recruiting expertise and long-term capabilities within the Argentina GDS recruiting organization.

Stakeholder Management & Partnership

  • Partner closely with US based Experienced Recruiting leaders to align priorities, expectations, and team objectives.
  • Share recruiting insights, operational trends, market intelligence, and recommendations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to recruiting leadership on team performance and capability-building opportunities.
  • Build strong partnerships across TA2 functions, Talent, and business stakeholders.

Escalation & Issue Resolution

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, performance concerns, and behavioral issues within the Experienced Supervising Associate recruiting team.
  • Address challenges through coaching and development interventions when appropriate.
  • Escalate persistent or strategic issues to the appropriate US Experienced Recruiting Lead while providing recommended actions and supporting data.
  • Ensure timely resolution of operational and team-related concerns.

Collaboration & Compliance

  • Partner with GDS TA2 and Talent leaders to ensure alignment with local performance expectations, LEAD activities, compliance requirements, and talent processes.
  • Support workforce planning, employee development, and performance management activities.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, standards, and applicable local requirements.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Significant experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Operations, or Talent Management.
  • Experience leading recruiting teams and managing performance in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and motivate recruiting professionals.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
