The Opportunity

The CPO Executive Administrative Business Manager is a highly strategic, hybrid role that bridges executive administrative support with Business Unit level business operations. Reporting to the Chief of Staff/Head of Operations & Administration and primarily supporting the Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Commercial Portfolio Organization (CPO), this role operates at the heart of the CPO Leadership Team (CPOLT) in supporting the implementation and delivery of business and people priorities.

As AI and digital tools increasingly automate routine scheduling, travel, and expense logistics, this role relies heavily on human discernment, strong decision-making, and operational judgment to make an impact. You will act as the connective tissue for the CPO organization, supporting operational excellence, advancing the administrative community's capabilities, and helping to implement the established 2026 "Velocity with Purpose" strategy.

  • Executive Support & Strategic Connection: Partner with executives to drive strategic goals by leveraging AI and digital tools to automate logistics, allowing for high-level prioritization and cross-functional project execution.

  • Culture Advancement & Community Leadership: Help lead the ABP Community of Practice by fostering a high-performing culture through skill-building, strategic thought partnership, and modeling cultural norms to enhance community connectivity and operational excellence.

  • Business & Operations Management ("CPO Center Square"): Serve as a core Business and Operations Manager for the Office of the CPO, driving the "Velocity with Purpose" strategy by aligning cross-functional partners—including Finance, P&C, and Marketing—to execute high-impact events and operational objectives with measurable results.

Who You Are

  • Executive Support Experience: Proven track record of supporting senior leadership in fast-paced, demanding corporate environments while managing conflicting priorities with extreme flexibility.

  • High-Stakes Judgment & Discretion: Exceptional maturity and professional presence, with the ability to handle confidential/non-public information with absolute discretion and sound judgment.

  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Ability to prioritize organizational outcomes over simple tasks, leveraging leadership collaboration to solve complex problems and make effective decisions.

  • Elite Communication & Influence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to deliver concise messages and act as a positive, influential ambassador for the executive and organization.

Preferred:

  • Tech-Forward Operations: Expert proficiency in collaborative tools (Google Workspace, Zoom, procurement platforms) and experience using AI-enabled project management to streamline workflows.

  • Enterprise Mindset: Highly collaborative approach with an "enterprise first" focus, ensuring all actions align with broader organizational goals.

  • Adaptability & Innovation: A proactive team player who embraces innovative approaches and remains steady and adaptable during shifting situations.
