The Opportunity:
The eCoE is focusing on three areas delivering a high-level of financial expertise, relevant insights, and an entrepreneurial mindset that enables stakeholders to make business decisions. The eCoE is a talent engine for Finance through capability building and network building. There are three focus areas within eCoE:
● Financial Backbone
● Digital Innovation
● Analytics and Insights
In our ongoing reflection across the eCoE and FEP Network on how to evolve our setup, we identified an opportunity to elevate our collective impact by creating “Analytics & Insights Engine” for the US Pharma Commercial business, scaling the learnings and best practices from other engines across the eCOE. You will be a founding architect of this journey, scaling global best practices to shape a high-impact financial and digital ecosystem.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Automation: Spearhead the design and deployment of tier 1 automated solutions for US enterprise recurring reporting, aligning technical delivery with the Digital Finance roadmap while ensuring CMG Finance priorities are met. Support the testing and configuration of tier 2 and 3 in alignment with digital hub.
Reporting optimization: Drive reporting evolution by owning solution standardization and pitching formal proposals to streamline "how" and "what" is reported to maximize operational efficiency for the US organization and for the wider commercial organizations.
Business Partnership: Serve as a key partner to FEP teams, leading the end-to-end production and standardization of analytic reporting solutions to ensure a "single version of truth" across the enterprise while maintaining adherence to Global and local requirements.
Global-Local Integration: Act as the primary conduit to Pharma International Digital Champions, localizing international digital solutions to align with US-specific commercial priorities and synchronizing global/local data flows to ensure a seamless commercial story across GPS, Pharma International and US. ..
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify process simplifications and digital synergies across teams to maintain a scalable, future-proof analytics environment, while decommissioning redundant or low-value tools
Operational Optimization: Support local digital champion efforts & partner with the Simplify, Automate, Stop, Transition (SAST) team to determine solutions to best support Finance evolution..
Cross-Functional Advocacy: Support change enablement efforts across broader pharma commercial teams to accelerate the adoption of digital tools and ensure alignment with business-critical priorities.
Agile Evolution: Navigate evolving work packages with an "owner mindset," positioning the role as the central analytics engine while spreading digital capabilities across the organization.
Who You Are:
As a member of the Engine and eCOE US Pharma Commercial Finance, you demonstrate strong analytical skill, bringing strong FP&A experience and digital. You will bring a flexible working approach with an ability to pivot to where the highest impact can be found and to navigate through a global & dynamic environment. You are a self-starter and have the ability to flex beyond your immediate job scope which is particularly important given that this Engine is novel and newly established. You are detail-oriented and comfortable working with large datasets. This, along with your distinct collaboration skills and ability to influence will enable you to build trustful relationships with FEPs and Global teams and work in a partnership with them.
In addition, you bring the following core skills or experiences:
Experience in FP&A 5-8 years and track record of strong delivery
Ability to navigate a dynamic environment and work across various systems
Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and ability to handle large dataset as well as be a strong collaborator and good communicator with ability to influence and drive change
Effective in global settings and experience in leading projects/outcomes
Strong analytical skills & tool mastery (SAC, Excel, etc.) and strong foundational finance expertise
Ability to flex between attention to detail and big picture/enterprise thinking
Business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, growth mindset
Ability to articulate & visualize a financial story in an impactful manner and the ability to summarize complex data in a simple and convincing storyline
Collaborative, curious mindset and ability to connect the dots and strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain trusted relationships
Location: This position can be based in South San Francisco, CA, or Mississauga, ON, Canada.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of San Francisco, CA is $104,700 - $239,200. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
