Position Summary
General Atlantic is looking for a Graphic Designer, Publications to join its Marketing & Communications team based in New York or Miami. This individual will be instrumental in helping maintain a unified voice and style across GA’s publications and will operate across the entire Marketing & Communication Department. In the near term, this person will support the Capital Solution’s team, focusing on design efforts for Limited Partner (LP) materials.
Responsibilities
- Commission illustrations, graphics, or other visuals for publication and work with data teams to compile charts and other infographics for publications
- Partner closely with the Director, Publications and the Production Coordinator to establish visual tone and voice and design publications for print and web
- Conceptualize and create visual designs for print and digital media, including but not limited to: logos, branding materials, advertisements, social media graphics, website layouts, and product packaging
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other team members to understand project objectives and develop creative solutions that meet business goals and brand guidelines
- Translate ideas and concepts into visually appealing designs that effectively communicate key messages and evoke desired emotions
- Use industry-standard design software and tools to produce high-quality graphics and artwork
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, techniques, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge and ensure designs are fresh and innovative
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from team members and stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
- Work closely with printers, vendors, and other external partners to ensure the successful production and implementation of design projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of work experience; exposure to the financial services industry a plus
- Creative thinker with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work across cultures and demonstrated flexibility of communication style
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Demonstrable project management skills, including with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Highly motivated, inquisitive, and positive can-do attitude

Additional reward programs, such as annual discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive programs, are available for eligible employees and are offered as recognition for performance and one’s contributions towards the organization’s success.
