Function Overview

The Digital and Technology team at General Mills stands as the largest and foremost unit, dedicated to exploring the latest trends and innovations in technology while leading the adoption of cutting-edge technologies across the organization. Collaborating closely with global business teams, the focus is on understanding business models and identifying opportunities to leverage technology for increased efficiency and disruption. The team's expertise spans a wide range of areas, including AI/ML, Data Science, IoT, NLP, Cloud, Infrastructure, RPA and Automation, Digital Transformation, Cyber Security, Blockchain, SAP S4 HANA and Enterprise Architecture. Purpose of the role

D&T Manager is expected to perform at a level of trusted technology partner for supply chain business leadership. The role is expected to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive digital transformation in the International Supply Chain. Role requires a broad range of skills and expertise, including Business Analyst, Solution architect, strategic thinking, relationship building, domain knowledge, technology expertise, and effective communication. D&T Manager will proactively engage with stakeholders to provide strategic partnership, & work towards implementing new solutions/improving existing solutions to ensure that D&T organization delivers high-quality solutions that meets business needs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Building and managing relationships with supply chain business leaders.
  • Candidate will need to work closely with the business to understand needs and develop digital roadmap for multiple years.
  • Provide strategic guidance to business on the use of digital and technology solutions.
  • Act as a single point of contact for business from D&T organization.
  • Take end to end ownership of deliverables for scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Understand technology trends, innovative solutions, in supply chain space and execute PoCs, pilots.
  • Manage Budget and fiscal discipline of D&T for the international supply chain initiatives.
  • Providing strategic guidance to the business on digital and technology solutions.
  • Collaborating with the delivery organization to prioritize projects and ensure they deliver value to the business.
  • Building and managing relationships with internal and external partners to align services with the strategic goals for international markets.
  • Keeping the D&T supply chain leadership informed of the latest developments and providing regular updates on project progress.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education – Full time graduation from an accredited university
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Electronics/Electrical. MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Candidate should have expertise in disciplines like Expertise Architecture, Business Analysis, Team management.
  • Implementation experience with SAP core modules – Sales & Distribution, Logistics Execution, contracts, pricing
  • Understanding of integration with other SAP module like MM, Finance,
  • Experience with S4HANA
  • Experience in implementing business processes i.e. P2P, O2C, Q2C, Planning
  • Knowledge of Data Architecture in Supply Chain, master data management, data governance.
  • Hands on experience on self-service analytics tools.
  • Understanding of vendor products in supply chain used in CPG industry i.e., TMS, OMS, Track & Trace, MES etc.
  • Understanding of technologies like Cloud Platform, BPM, Data Analytics & AI tools. Integration technologies like API, EDI, ETL

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of CPG industry business processes
  • Expertise in leading change management for the business
  • Strong ability to build and sustain relationship on senior management level.
  • Strong negotiation, facilitation, influencing and decision-driving skills.
  • Flexibility, persistence, accompanied by quality and results orientation.
  • Ability to work in a global, multicultural work environment and leverage virtual teams.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to communicate with the team and various stakeholders.
  • Past technology hands on experience.
  • Awareness of Data and analytics tools, application of AI in supply chain.
  • Awareness of integration technologies like EDI, API, ETL
  • Awareness of cloud architecture, application architectures
