Purpose of the role

The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to manage Integrated Measurement initiatives at General Mills in capacity of Analyst specialized in media data. This role will report into Assistant Manager- Data Foundations, Commercial Operations in India and functionally collaborate with Global Enterprise Team, CMI OU Leads and various Vendor Partners. It is an Individual contributor role. In this role, the incumbent will lead efforts to harmonize media mapping across platforms to appropriate OU/Plans to provide leadership view on media spends & ROI, Planned Vs actuals, Paid vs Earned impression. This role would also support various data steward responsibilities such as maintaining Nielsen dictionary and harmonizing new products attributes for multiple categories for international markets.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Keep track of media engagements for General Mills brands and maintain harmonized mapping process for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Understand different types of media data and platforms used by General Mills across vendors partners, build subject matter expertise and lead process improvement initiatives to improve time to value for data.
  • Strong working knowledge of Media Data (Coupons/Social/Digital/Traditional) including exposure on Retail Media for measurement and optimization, comfortable in adopting new tool/technology leveraged by General Mills and agency partners & become an SME
  • Partner closely with vendors, business teams, data foundation teams to ensure accurate and timely availability of media, point of sales and spend data for downstream measurement activity.
  • Effectively communicate data issues, challenges and opportunities to business stakeholders, tech team and vendor partners
  • Should be comfortable to work on large data sets, google research techniques to identify appropriate mapping for the products.
  • Identify historical inconsistencies in mapping and take appropriate actions to rectify, assess change impact, sizing efforts & set clear expectation on implementation.
  • Keep project notes and projects documents updated and verified.
  • End to end project management on multiple projects that are in progress and planned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education – Full time graduation from an accredited university
  • 3+ years of experience in Media data in CPG (or related) industry
  • Fundamentals of Digital Marketing Courses or relevant digital marketing professional certification
  • Proficiency in Advance Excel functionalities
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases. Exposure to GCP, Big Query and data harmonization tool.
  • Excellent analytical, prioritization skills, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders/Vendors and businesses together
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Integrated Measurement or Market mix modelling experience as data steward or analyst is preferred
