Purpose of the role
This position offers the opportunity to experience a full range of the project life cycle including discovery, design, development, testing, and support covering different aspects like Planning, Demand Chain, Supply Chain, Financials and Reporting. Expectations are to drive innovations that enhance user experience, support process and technology efforts, and deliver value to our client's. The candidate is expected to be a subject matter expert in this role. The role is also accountable for Distributor Markets around the operational health of solutions and maintaining support and ensuring business continuity and sustainability.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- This role will be accountable for overall Functional Client Management including owning the Project Portfolio for Distributor Markets & Roadmap of Capabilities
- Accountable for understanding the needs of Distributor Markets operations and developing integrated capabilities in response to those needs.
- Active Participation in Spring plan and Prioritized project list/portfolio for assigned area in Go/Demand
- In this capacity of Solution Manager, you will be accountable for solutioning & ensuring clear goals and outcomes of the project, removing barriers to ensure project execution, ensuring standardization and Integration of Solutions across Distributor Markets
- Accountable for project kick off and sponsor/steering team meetings
- Lead the initiatives in your Area of responsibility
- Understand and leverage all D&T capabilities
- Partner with the Stakeholder to design new work processes and implementing them
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide timely updates
- Advocate and influence solutions and inform on new trends and technologies
- Connect with cross-functional peers to ensure end-to-end solution optimization.
- Train key users, prepare/update documentation, and implement sustainable training strategies.
- Mentor others to learn new skills and deepen their knowledge of systems and processes.
- Ensure Product and Project delivery of business capabilities and outcomes through active engagement in key projects and strong partnership with key stakeholders
- Champion and execute early project governance actions for key projects
- Escalate issues for resolution – collaborate with PMs, SMs, Directors across D&T
- Resource allocation to optimize staff development and company value
- Talent development and Performance Management
- PMO Thought Leadership and Strategy
- Recruiting & On-Boarding new staff
- Leading & mentoring the team
- Support SAP/Non-SAP new setup, data & analytics to accelerate business growth
- Work with contractors and 3rd party vendors to ensure quality results on projects and enhancements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education – Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)
- Minimum years of related experience required: 13+ years
