Purpose of the role
The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Digital Transformation initiative at General Mills in capacity of an Assistant Manager – Data Quality Services. This role will report into D&T Manager - Data Stewardship, GDGS team in India and functionally collaborate with stakeholders across the Enterprise teams. They will play a technical lead role for the Data Quality Services team. This role will use latest technologies to ensure operational efficiencies and high-quality data to help drive Global Data Governance strategies. This role requires significant an analytical mindset and service orientation to support critical business processes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead a team of Data Quality analysts responsible for global support for Data Governance Capabilities across General Mills
- Should have deep experience and knowledge on the Data Quality Monitoring tools such as: SQL, Collibra, Informatica, SAP Information Steward, etc.
- Subject Matter Expertise - core, functional and analytic data in CPG.
- Identify opportunities to engage Master Data Process Owners, Data Stewards, Data Governance/Analytic architect and Data SMEs to improve enterprise data.
- Develops technical integrations between analytic and technical capabilities.
- Develop Global Data rules and quality metrics in partnership with Data Stewards, Data SMEs, and client and stakeholder groups across GMI for existing and new data sets
- Create, communicate, and deploy data quality solutions.
- Understands and develops data governance technology capabilities roadmap.
- Identify and build Data Governance Reports using Data Visualization Tools such as Tableau, etc
- Collaborates in cross-team conversations to ensure seamless and sustainable upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes of tooling.
- Mentor other DQ analysts, Data Stewards and Data owners

- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related experience
