What your role is
The Learning & Development Specialist, in Uxbridge, UK will partner with key Corporate and Manufacturing stakeholders, in the plants and in the corporate offices. This role will be responsible for leading design, development, and delivery of broad-based learning programs to enable Supply Chain capability and skill development. This position will be a key enabler for Supply Chain leadership to assess learning needs to deliver the solutions to accelerate performance and will partner with the Supply Chain HRBPs and Manufacturing HR team in identifying needs and developing learning solutions for critical top talent, create programs that addresses critical gaps in talent development strategies, early career development programs, and source external learning programs for meeting critical learning needs.
The L&D Specialist will leverage strong project management, consulting and facilitation skills to optimize employee experience in training both virtually and in person.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and support Learning & Development plans to help SC to achieve business performance goals.
- Partner with Corporate and Manufacturing stakeholders to address and schedule learning needs.
- Provide technical development and support of technology-based performance support tools (Cornerstone, Connected Worker, others)
- Execute quarterly goals of the Supply Chain Corporate and Manufacturing learning strategy while promoting the overall learning ecosystem.
- Ensure quality, accessibility, and upkeep of learning and development plans.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to support content development processes.
- Provide feedback to training program participants (e.g., trainers, trainees) and management (e.g., Team Leaders, TOC Manager)
- Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including formal, social, and embedded learning in Corporate and Manufacturing.
- Support the plant’s training community (development of trainers, best practice sharing, etc.)
- Partner with the SC Corporate and Manufacturing Human Resources team during the onboarding process to ensure a seamless integration into the company.
- Maintain and manage records in accordance with applicable company, state, and federal regulations.
- Implement and manage learning technologies, programs, and equipment to enable effective learning experiences.
- Track and report on training progress & outcomes in Corporate and Manufacturing (e.g., check-ins, qualification charts)
- Participate with Plant Talent Analyst to help develop and drive capability building processes used throughout the plant.
- Partner with Global and International L&D team to coordinate efforts and make sure EUAU SC Corporate and Manufacturing is in the international L&D plan.
- Support locally International/Global Learning & Development initiatives
What you will bring to the team
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years’ experience learning & development.
- Experience partnering with Supply Chain (Corporate and Manufacturing)
- Minimal Travel (10%)
- High learning agility
- Ability to influence across levels
- Highly self-motivated, self-starter with ability to navigate ambiguity
- Experience in Continuous Improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with training and facilitating.
- Project management experience
- Experience with learning technology (e.g. Cornerstone)
- Manufacturing Experience
