Purpose of the role
General Mills is seeking a Supply Chain Systems Analyst to join our Supply Chain Logistics and Customer fulfilment Operations team providing new capabilities and systems support to General Mills Supply Chain business partners. This role will support the North American customer operations and business processes.
The consultant will play an integral part in formulating and delivering solutions and operational enhancements, working directly with various business partners, IT leadership and external service providers to deliver value to our business in the areas of Order to Cash and SAP-SD and other Customer Operations technologies. Team members provide important leadership in connecting supply chain processes (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver) across IT and business teams to ensure end to end processes align with business strategy and deliver against business objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide exceptional service and support to optimize and streamline processes, reducing time spent on maintenance.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve issues, coordinating with users, IS teams, vendors, and service providers.
- Lead and guide technical aspects of system releases, upgrades, and SAP fixes.
- Collaborate with business users to understand needs, shape solutions, and implement new functionalities to support GMI’s Customer Operations and Modernization strategy.
- Maintain test scripts, oversee user testing, and facilitate training for solution adoption.
- Utilize strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a methodical approach to challenges and a proactive mindset in building robust business partnerships.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education – Full time graduation from an accredited University
- Minimum 5+ Years of Hands-on Techno-functional SAP experience on SAP ECC SD with minimum of 2 full life cycle Implementation experience
- Expertise in SAP SD and EDI
- Data integration experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior CPG experience preferred
- SAP EDI experience preferred
- Configuration experience in multiple modules (WM, or QM).
- Deep understanding of overall SAP software architecture and integration.
- SAP SD certification is preferable
- SAP HANA Knowledge is preferred
- SAP EDI and Other Integration Knowledge preferred
