POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sr. Project Engineer will provide technical leadership for capital projects across the Cedar Rapids plant. This position requires considerable interaction with platform teams, systems engineers, controls engineers, reliability engineers, maintenance leadership, plant floor personnel, plant leadership team, business team, and external engineers and vendors.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Project Manager/Engineer on capital projects - overall project management, budget, schedule, construction management, start-up, conceptual phases, project close-out, scope development, cost estimation, system design, equipment sizing and selection, procurement, installation, check out
- Maintain close working relationship with R&D, quality, manufacturing, operations leadership, and financial operations
- Offer production support and troubleshooting assistance to Engineers, Operations, and Maintenance
- Manage external engineering firms and vendors as necessary
- Provide support to annual capital planning process, which may include development and management of the capital program for an operating department
- Utilize Continuous Improvement and Vertical Start-up Tools as needed
- Coach and mentor junior engineers in the plant
- Actively participate in the Project Engineering Community (PECOM)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent applicable experience or extensive relevant work experience
- 6+ years related experience
- Demonstrated understanding of technology, including complexities of products, equipment, and costs
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence individuals at different levels of the organization
- Experience leading complex capital projects with many different stakeholders

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $106800.00 - $160300.00 / Annually.
