Job Overview Function Overview The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence. This collaborative approach ensures a well-coordinated supply chain that aligns with both organizational goals and dynamic market conditions. Link Purpose of the role The Operations Analyst (OA) is a member of ESC and will be an integral member, working collaboratively with ESC Pod members and cross-functionally with key members of their respective Operating Units. The OA will enable ESC pillar relationships and commercial activities through the OA Support Model. The OA will also provide ESC Relationship Managers and cross functional stakeholders support through facilitating the buy to pay framework by minimizing workflow disruptions, troubleshooting and sustaining processes. In this role, the OA will provide key support to the bidding and setup of ESC suppliers and products and will be the first point of escalation to resolve blocked invoices and manage supplier risk. The OA will support business priorities and drive results. Some examples include contract/price management, conduct category analytics, and overall support of supplier management, e-Sourcing and system data maintenance. The OA will also manage Internal and External Relationships, focused on internal brand planners, Finance, project managers and PLPM, as well as external supplier relationships. Strong communication, project management and change management/influence skills are imperative to lead stakeholders from customized processes to standard process. As the OA, you will participate in governing standard process through reporting, analytics, and Source to Pay process support or project management. Each role is unique and allows the OA to contribute and develop in their own meaningful ways. Category specific support, broad initiative support and training of small teams may be required.
