Job Overview

Function Overview

The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence. Purpose of the role

The Operations Analyst (OA) is a member of ESC and will be an integral member, working collaboratively with ESC Pod members and cross-functionally with key members of their respective Operating Units.

The OA will enable ESC pillar relationships and commercial activities through the OA Support Model. The OA will also provide ESC Relationship Managers and cross functional stakeholders support through facilitating the buy to pay framework by minimizing workflow disruptions, troubleshooting and sustaining processes. In this role, the OA will provide key support to the bidding and setup of ESC suppliers and products and will be the first point of escalation to resolve blocked invoices and manage supplier risk.

The OA will support business priorities and drive results. Some examples include contract/price management, conduct category analytics, and overall support of supplier management, e-Sourcing and system data maintenance. The OA will also manage Internal and External Relationships, focused on internal brand planners, Finance, project managers and PLPM, as well as external supplier relationships. Strong communication, project management and change management/influence skills are imperative to lead stakeholders from customized processes to standard process. As the OA, you will participate in governing standard process through reporting, analytics, and Source to Pay process support or project management. Each role is unique and allows the OA to contribute and develop in their own meaningful ways. Category specific support, broad initiative support and training of small teams may be required.

Key Accountabilities

Category & Buyer Support (60%)

  • Category analytics/data reporting pulls and system knowledge
  • ESC site data and process management
  • Lead bidding events
  • Contract management process leadership
  • Category management analytics
  • Regular CMT/HMM reporting and data analytics
  • Facilitate and educate on S2P tools and resources
  • Taxonomy and Spend Classification support
  • Business Specific Operational Tasks
  • Global OA support and initiatives
  • Manage monthly manual BPM RUN metrics for Pod, including Supplier Out-of-Tolerance (OOT) and Expiring Contracts metrics

System Optimization & Trouble shooting (15%)

  • Business & Platform Service Support
  • Expert in key ESC systems
  • A/P process, payment terms and Taulia execution and support
  • Inbound Logistics escalation and other support, as needed
  • GoBuy, Ask the link & Tail Spend support
  • Identify optimization opportunities within tools & processes
  • Continual update of ESC Contact Database

Internal & External Relationship Management (15%)

  • P2P Policy Champion
  • Provide quality customer service for business partners
  • Support vendors with invoicing guidance (ex. AP issues)
  • Facilitate and lead Vendor/Stakeholder through new vendor set up
  • Adhoc troubleshooting & maintenance requests
  • Escalation point for key internal and external stakeholders
  • Supplier change & performance management
  • Risk management
  • Ensure vendors are integrated properly in various systems

Other Category/POD Support (10%)

  • All other duties critical to business needs

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–4 years in analytics, process management, or a similar role.
  • Basic expertise in tools such as SAP APO, Excel, and data visualization platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Timely resolution of system issues and troubleshooting cases.
  • Achievement of cost-saving targets and category goals.
  • Supplier performance and compliance with SLAs.
  • Successful completion of optimization projects and system enhancements.
