General Mills is looking for an Associate Brand Manager dedicated to building and executing both short and long-term brand strategy for one of our iconic General Mills brands! This is a great role to serve as a general manager for your brand, in order to maintain the P&L and deliver financial stability, growth, profitability, and market share, all while creating excitement in the market.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead strategy execution of brand portfolio management and 12Q plans including innovation, Holistic Margin Management, brand renovation, Strategic Revenue Management, and packaging design to hit financial and volume targets in collaboration with cross-functional team
- Support building brand strategies that drive sustainable growth (market share) and deliver financial forecast (RNS & Profit)
- Lead and collaborate across an ecosystem of cross-functional partners to execute plans
- Lead a total budget to ensure the team is on track to their targets
- Partner with US counterparts to inform long-term brand strategy and to execute shared projects
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of work/internship experience
- Background in: CPG Brand Marketing, Finance, Sales, Consulting, Project Management or other leadership development program experience (industry agnostic)
- Large, matrixed organization experience
- Skills – Project Management, leadership, teamwork, collaboration
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong analytic ability to translate data into meaningful insights and action
- Ability to strategically choose levers to balance short-term commitments and long-term brand health
- Understand P&L mechanics and how to impact topline and bottom-line drivers
- Ability to identify and evaluate brand building ideas across 4Ps and make connections across other brands in
portfolio - Ability to determine how to use 4Ps to achieve brand strategy and goals
- Demonstrate comfort and capability with brands in all stages of growth
- Understand how Sales organization operates and role of SRM levers
- Ability to influence and inspire direct and cross-functional team
