Job Description

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid: The position does not require an employee to be onsite full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility, or off-site as frequently as needed or desired.

The Role:

The OnStar team is seeking a driven individual to support and accelerate the rapid subscription growth along with supporting key product launches in Canada. You will actively collaborate with the marketing, product, and analytic teams to execute customer acquisition plans, enhance our market brand visibility, track key product launch milestones, and achieve financial performance.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about driving results and adept at executing strategies that attract new users. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about spearheading innovative projects and devising comprehensive plans to boost consumer awareness and lead generation. Leveraging all available resources and analytics, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing tactics to identify and engage new target audiences effectively.

Some key tasks include

  • Working alongside marketing manager to conduct research, and perform in-depth statistical analysis of monthly subscriber numbers and growth trends (retention/remarketing/churn)
  • Conduct competitive research to identify product comparisons, competitive advantages, and potential opportunities (comparing all market OEs)
  • Forecast and track monthly subscriber numbers, conducting data analysis for growth insights
  • Develop innovative go-to-market ideas and a 24CY acquisition calendar to ensure a strategic approach to attracting new customers.

Required Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree (3rd and 4th year students Sales & Marketing) or in similar discipline

  • Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week in Canada, and for 8 month term (2-3 consecutive semesters) starting May 2024
