Job Description

Responsible for coordinating ocean and air shipments of imported parts, ensuring smooth logistical flow, and proactively seeking solutions for unexpected situations.

Logistics Analyst responsibilities:

  • Close tracking and control of the shipments ensuring that the flow is occurring as planned;

  • Identify risks, take appropriate actions, and escalate as necessary;

  • Be a solution provider, challenging the status quo and proactively proposing efficient solutions;

  • Maintain a direct interface and clear communication with logistics providers (ocean carriers, freight forwarders, trading partners) and key stakeholders at GM to ensure that business targets are met and exceeded. This includes a focus on customer satisfaction, quality, responsiveness, employee engagement, and financial initiatives;

  • Ensure a thorough understanding of the contract terms and actively monitor and enforce performance expectations for all stakeholders involved in the supply chain;

  • Work as an influencer to create a more strategical environment, bringing new approaches and tools.

  • Promote GM values, taking and leading the team to decisions based on customer needs. Being a proactively roadblock buster.

Additional Job Description

Knowledge / Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Similar;

  • Fluent in Portuguese and Advanced in English. Spanish will be a plus;

  • Knowledge in data analysis tools and Logistics routine will be a plus

  • Experience in the automotive industry, working with shipowners, freight forwarders and customs brokers;

  • Have strong interpersonal/communication skills, sense of urgency, ownership, analytical e problem-solving skills
