Job Description

Hybrid: Work physically at General Motors 3 times per week (TUE-THU)

Availability to work in Sao Caetano Do Sul

Role:

The Market Researcher assists in the framing and development of studies and is responsible for their execution, analysis and reporting to inform recommendations to improve GM SA Business. As the Market Researcher, your role will include but not limited to following duties:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist manager with understanding the internal divisional client’s business decisions, framing the research objectives and figuring out appropriate methodology
  • Develop surveys and focus group moderator guides which meet client’s research objectives
  • Own the research planning meetings to ensure consensus prior to study execution
  • Monitor study execution and respond appropriately throughout
  • Maintain good communication and relationships before, during, and after the study with supplier, divisional client team and manager
  • Build the required Purchasing documents and Monitor vendor invoices
  • Analyze data in a timely manner with sound analytic methods
  • Construct well written reports to detail the key study findings including an executive summary with key insights
  • Present findings to internal divisional clients and address follow up issues

Additional Job Description

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering, Data Science or related a
  • Fluent English
  • Proficient in the use of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Knowledge how to create interactive reports with data base
  • Enthusiasm for the auto industry.
  • A passion for the customer
  • Intellectual curiosity, analytical patience, willingness to develop an idea into an insight through iteration and synthesis
  • Ability to develop and communicate insights in a “story-telling” format which increases its “stickiness”
  • A collaborative, client-service orientation
  • Ability to work and thrive in an environment with high level of complexity & ambiguity
  • Appreciation and understanding of market research & analysis methodology and basic statistics is a definite advantage
  • Ability to deal with situations that are complex and ambiguous.
  • Willingness to ask questions, take initiative and be resourceful.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative, challenging, team environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, especially the ability to synthesize large amounts of data involving multiple variables into comprehensive, yet concise, actionable insights.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding organizational/project management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing deliverables and deadlines.
  • Strong written & oral communication skills; ability to present confidently to senior leadership as well as small and large audiences
  • Detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Spanish
  • Power BI, AI tools
  • Knowledge how to explore the world of data, transforming data into valuable insights
