Hybrid: for this position is required to be on site 3x/week at São Caetano do Sul OR Soracaba plant
Role:
Regional SME for CCA (Customer Care & Aftersales) Logistics processes, responsible to coordinate regional integration within South America, review logistics KPI´s and compliance processes, identify synergies/new business opportunities and define strategies for application at country level
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Coordinate, monitor and report Regional Freight/Cost Performance and Operational KPI’s/Action Plans
- Develop Logistics Regional Targets and Budget; keep tight monitoring
- Gather, Implement and Report Cost Savings Initiatives
- Identify potential carriers and 3rd party service providers, conducting technical reviews
- Develop CCA Logistics SOR´s connected to the business strategy, making sure all customer service requirements as well as basic Logistics standards are included
- Keep track of all CCA Logistics Sourcing Strategies, supporting buyers on the entire sourcing process
- Perform Economic studies on potential transport network changes, impact of new transport technologies, supplier/customer location, etc, for possible application in the GM networks
- Share Best Practices within GM CCA Supply Chain, Warehousing and Logistics community (Local/Regional/Global); Benchmark with other companies and GM OE plants
- Align and Implement Logistics Visibility tools within CCA in South America

Additional Job Description
Your skills and abilities (required qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Economy or related areas
- High level of oral and written Portuguese, English and Spanish communication skills
- High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
- High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with others globally
- Avaibility for any travel
- Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related areas
- Demonstrated knowledge about warehouse operations, inventory management and order processing, in order to be able to evaluate the impact of transport strategies and activities in these related areas.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software, including PowerBI
- High level of engagement on GM behaviors

- Desirable MBA or Post Graduation in Logistics Management
