Job Description

Hybrid This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Cole Engineering Center Tower, Warren MI three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]

Candidate will pay a key role in advancing cross-functional planning, consolidations, and on demand reporting by delivering actionable insights through OneStream/Finance360 workstreams. The project will focus on defining data structure to meet our desired reporting requirements for future state and developing single source of truth with modernize reporting. The role also includes identifying short-term wins to accelerate MOR process while the long-term solution is under development. Candidate will collaborate with broader Finance, Controllership and IT which provides an excellent opportunity to build broader network. Success in this role requires strong independent judgement, collaborative teamwork, and effective problem-solving skills.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define future state requirements for key consolidation, planning, and close processes by collaborating with stakeholders to capture and align on business needs.

  • Partner with stakeholders, PtR workstream leads, and IT to evaluate solution feasibility, weighing pros and cons to drive consensus and final decisions.

  • Document the requirements and expected outcomes, and support various testing phases including functional, user acceptance (UAT), and parallel testing

  • Contribute to MOR acceleration efforts and monitor monthly forecast close cycles, identify opportunities to streamline, optimize, and transform business processes while proactively addressing open items and closing gaps

  • Serve as a Fin360 ambassador and conduct thorough due diligence on report validations

  • Contribute to shaping and designing the future state of finance data and reporting requirements. Demonstrate strong learning agility by quickly grasping new topics to build a solid understanding of the current state.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to influence and guide transformation efforts

  • Operate with a high level of independent judgement and initiative

  • This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate





Additional Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administrative or equivalent experience/ training

  • 5+ years in accounting or finance

  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships

  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills

  • Operate autonomously, where ambiguity and time constraints exist

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FP&A experience

  • High proficiency in system, OneStream, etc. preferred

  • Finance/Accounting systems and processes

  • Prior transformation or change management experience
