Job Description
Work Arrangement:
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office at minimum three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business, and two times per week remote.
Your Role:
The Treasury Associate will contribute to the development and execution of various treasury initiatives and tasks, including but not limited to capital planning, liquidity & cash management, debt & equity capital markets, relationship management with banks & rating agencies, FX, commodities & interest hedging activity, corporate special projects, investments & structured finance, auto finance, pension funding, and supplier finance risk management. The role demands strong financial analysis, critical thinking skills, strong communication skills, the ability to grasp strategic issues to develop sophisticated problem-solving solutions, leadership and maturity, understanding of accounting principles, self-directed work capability, and effective relationship-building across the organization.

- Help teams understand project relevance to operational strategy and enterprise goals.
- Participate in business case preparation for new lines of business and initiatives.
- Review agreements and provide guidance on payment terms and other Treasury related terms.
- Lead negotiations with business partners.
- Evaluate liquidity needs of legal entities in the Region, arrange funding and cash repatriation.
- Review and analyze cash flow forecasts on a regular basis, identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to improve operational and financial health of the entities.
- Manage FX, commodity, and interest rate risk via capital markets actions.
- Set up and improve cash management processes for existing and new entities.
- Provide guidance and coordination for bank and other financial account opening, closing.
- Analyze and provide recommendations for counterparty exposure limits.
- Support audit and KYC requests related to entities.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field of study
- Minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
