REE has an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Officer / Administrator to join our Perth Team. We are seeking a motivated Administrator who can look after business administration and project lifecycle but also manage the office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This role will give you the opportunity to:
- Support the office, project managers, and senior management in all Geosyntec offices
- Monthly Invoicing cycle and Timesheet reporting
- Proposal and Project set up
- Providing administration support on project maintenance, tax requirements, invoicing, and revenue
- Purchase Order / Expense Reconciliation / Supplier Management
- Assisting with Purchase Order setup and maintenance (including submitting supplier invoices)
- Revenue analysis and project financial performance review
- Project revenue analysis for PMs
- Ad hoc reporting for PM’s
- Broad range of administrative tasks including General office admin duties – milk runs, organising catering, ordering stationery, milk runs, and cleaning/tidying the office when needed
- Client Purchase Order reviews
- Inbox Management – Geosyntec Admin & Personal
- Site Onboarding / Medicals / Travel requests / Document control
Education and Licensure
- A minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in project administration, preferably in a professional services firm
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in Professional Services Firm (Engineering preferred)
- Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (preferred)
- Experience within Finance, Accounting or similar. (preferred, but not essential)
- Project administration experience. (preferred)
- Invoicing experience. (preferred, but not essential)
- Knowledge and previous experience with ERP packages / Accounting systems. (required)
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. (required)
- Quick learner, open to new processes, and able to 'hit the ground running,'
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment and demonstrate strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work with multiple time zones and team members over multiple offices.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite. (e.g. MS Word, Excel)
