As an Early-Career Scientist or Engineer in our Saskatoon team, you will apply your academic knowledge and practical experience to real-world situations related to contaminated site assessment & remediation, groundwater management and water treatment for a diverse industrial and mining client base, while also learning and expanding the business skills needed for a successful consulting career.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities for the position may include:
- Fieldwork such as soil, surface water, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling, drilling and contractor oversight, construction quality assurance and oversight; and groundwater remediation treatment system operation and maintenance (O&M);
- Managing project tasks and schedules, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects;
- Provide contamination assessment services, such as designing and implementing sampling plans, reviewing chemical analysis results; supporting bench scale treatability testing, and pilot test programs;
- Supporting aquifer testing and hydrogeologic data analysis and chemical data and contaminant fate & transport evaluations;
- Data analysis/visualization of site investigation data including the preparation of tables, maps, and figures;
- Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.

Education and Licensure
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology or a related field of study (required)
- Advanced degree in engineering, geology or a related field of study (preferred)
- Professional Certification - Engineer-in-Training or Geoscientist-in-Training (desirable)
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of related experience conducting field investigations and studies, including observation of drilling and well installation, soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and other field techniques, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
- Prior experience in contaminated media or remediation technology. (preferred)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to environmental remediation. (preferred)
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and related software. (required)
- Excellent writing and communication skills. (required)
- Valid Canadian driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
