We’re seeking a strong QA Engineer to join our Wealth Management Core Custody team in our Dallas office.

Wealth Management (WM) delivers the “full value of Goldman Sachs”, curated for High Net Worth (HNW) clientele. Core Custody Platform in this space manages client asset position & trade accounting, full trade life-cycle management, real-time account information, accurate margin, balance calculations, and efficient workflows for payment, security transfers and corporate actions across a wide set of products. This is a QA Engineering position at Associate level, to work in an Agile development team.

What you’ll do in the role

  • The candidate is expected to design, develop, and maintain data-driven automated test frameworks for Web, API, and Mobile applications.
  • Implement end-to-end automation strategies for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Create and manage test data strategies for complex scenarios, ensuring scalability and reusability.
  • Candidate should be able to able to collaborate with developers and product owners to drive QA agenda & standards
  • The candidate will work on a global team, with concentration in Dallas and India.

  • Work with small, full-stack feature teams to deliver complete components for broader platform integration.
  • Communicate ideas, drive user demos, and work with business stakeholders to iterate development lifecycle.
  • Perform code reviews and enforce best practices for automation scripts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
  • Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, along with BDD frameworks like cucumber
  • API Testing: Expertise in REST API automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
  • Data-Driven Testing: Ability to design and implement parameterized test cases using external data sources (JSON, DB).
  • Performance Testing: Knowledge of JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools is a must have.
  • CI/CD Integration: Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  • Version Control: Proficient in Git workflows.
  • AI/ML-based testing tools and test orchestration platforms
  • Cloud & Containerization: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based test environments.

What you’ll bring to the role

As a 6-7 years of automation professional with 4-year college degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline such as Science or Engineering you are expected to possess -

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
