International Management, within the Executive Office, supports the firmâs senior leadership in Asia Pacific and EMEA across client engagement and regional strategic initiatives. Bengaluru and Hyderabad International Management works closely with Bengaluru and Hyderabad leadership to define and execute the strategy and key priorities of the office, drive cross-divisional initiatives, and strengthen transparency and connectivity.
Business Unit Overview
The Bengaluru Chief of Staff team is responsible for helping define the strategic priorities of the office and managing execution, branding and communication, external and internal engagements, and organizational management. We are focused on fostering an environment that maximizes the productivity and effectiveness of our people, communicating our vision and priorities across the organization, and serving as strategic advisors, solution-oriented problem solvers and stewards of the Bengaluru office and the strategic locations more broadly.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Country Head of Goldman Sachs Services India, the CAO for Bengaluru and Hyderabad, and the Chief of Staff team to define, execute, track and measure progress against strategic priorities of the region, including producing relevant materials and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Develop a deep understanding of the regional footprint, competencies and strategic focus areas and help identify opportunities to advance regional priorities. Help synthesize divisional analyses to abstract office-wide themes that can drive decision making
- Act as a liaison between Bengaluru and Hyderabad leadership and divisions through close connectivity with the divisional Chief of Staff groups
- Help manage organizational governance forums and updates
- Manage local communications, including support for leadership team in branding and external engagements (media briefers, Bengaluru To-All memos, Townhalls and senior leadership engagements material)
- Drive Bengaluru cross-divisional employee engagement initiatives (BLR&HYD Awards, festival engagements)
Basic Qualification
- MBA with 1-3 years of experience in financial services; prior Goldman Sachs experience is a plus
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, experience creating financial models and reading and interpreting financial statements and research report
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong presentation skills; ability to put together polished and commercial content
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter, comfortable operating in a dynamic and evolving role
- Expertise in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
