Business Unit Overview
Goldman Sachs Asset Management is looking to hire an analyst to join its Alts Platform Management team in Bengaluru to cover Europe. The position offers an excellent career opportunity for a candidate seeking exposure to a varied portfolio across the full capital spectrum. The role involves working closely with divisional leadership as well as regional and global teams, to help drive the business and key initiatives. The candidate should be a highly motivated individual with a passion for financial markets who is looking to challenge him/herself from Day 1.
Job Summary and Responsibilities

· Facilitate deal execution, deal closing, portfolio management and harvesting activities

· Coordinate structuring of new investments and help manage Federation review of the business opportunity

· Work closely with fund management team to facilitate fund capital call, cash distribution, investor, and regulatory reporting on fund performance

· Represent Goldman Sachs Asset Management and liaise with internal groups and external advisors to help resolve any legal, compliance, tax, accounting, and operational issues.

· Manage ad hoc requests from senior management, including data management, reporting and presentations.

· Support senior members on asset management activities and reviews

· Facilitate internal and regulatory driven information requests

· Help manage various challenges the business faces
Basic Qualifications
· 3-4 years of experience in financial service industry (principal or structured investment in particular)
· Strong financial analysis and accounting knowledge on multiple asset classes
· Strong skills with MS Excel and PowerPoint
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across internal and external teams
· Self-starter with strong desire to succeed in a fast paced, high pressure, results driven environment
