Across Wealth Management, Goldman Sachs helps empower clients and customers around the world to reach their financial goals. Our advisor-led wealth management businesses provide financial planning, investment management, banking and comprehensive advice to a wide range of clients, including ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals, as well as family offices, foundations and endowments, and corporations and their employees. Our consumer business provides digital solutions for customers to better spend, borrow, invest, and save. Across Wealth Management, our growth is driven by a relentless focus on our people, our clients and customers, and leading-edge technology, data and design.

The Global Leadership team is a team within Wealth Management that provides support and guidance to the Senior WM Executives, Regional Management Teams, Private Wealth Advisors, and many other business enablers in daily business operations.

The Associate for this role will work across the organization with other areas such as Business Unit and Divisional COOs, Product, Finance, Investor Relations, and Marketing. The multi-faceted role requires an individual with strong analytical, problem solving, quantitative, communication, presentation, and project management skills who is capable of multitasking across several large projects.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Work with management to deliver clear and consistent WM growth strategy and other presentation materials to internal (Board, EO, Management Committee, Operating Group) and external audiences
  • Conduct wealth management competitor research to uncover key themes, drivers of industry change, and evaluate GSWM’s relative positioning and provide recommendations
  • Facilitate cross functional strategic offsites and other meetings between GSWM Leadership, business units, and other key stakeholders
  • Manage WM key performance indicators and drive and execute key initiatives across WM

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong academic record and 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge/experience in wealth management a plus
  • Excellent writing and presentation development skills that can take complex concepts and create concise narratives for presentation and discussion
  • Experience conducting market and competitor research preferred, including familiarity with corporate filings and financial statements (e.g., Form 10-K) to drive insights and inform recommendations and action plans
  • Effective relationship building skills and the ability to work in a matrixed, collaborative organization
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and shifting timelines
  • Self-starter who learns quickly and is attentive to detail. Strong team player
  • Highly proficient at Excel and PowerPoint

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
