Analyst:

Investment Banking Analysts at Goldman Sachs gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expanded knowledge of the investment banking industry, as they develop key analytical, communications, marketing and sales skills. Analysts create and analyze financial models, performing scenario analyses and tests to examine the effects of client alternatives. In addition, Analysts organize and prepare presentations, which explain industry trends, discuss client options, and recommend strategies to meet client goals. Analysts may also participate in and conduct due diligence sessions, a necessary component of financial transactions. From maintaining client communication to helping Goldman Sachs structure client transactions, our Analysts are a vital part of Goldman Sachs’ banking teams.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience across either investment banking or infrastructure / credit funds
• Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong quantitative and technical abilities
• An outstanding academic record
• Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities
• Strong communications, multi-tasking and time management skills

Team Overview:

• The team is part of global Infrastructure and Real Asset Financing (“IRAF”) within the Capital Solutions Group (“CSG”)
• We originate, structure and execute transactions as an arranger, underwriter or principal lender
• We are sector and product agnostic, and can look at a broad spectrum of “infrastructure” assets, including:
  • Digital infrastructure, Renewables, transportation, energy and related infrastructure
• Analysts in the team are focused on (i) process management, (ii) financial modelling, (iii) preparation of client materials and (iv) due diligence
