INVESTMENT GRADE PRIVATE CREDIT / STRCUTURED CORPORATE CREDIT
Goldman Sachs is seeking a Vice President / Associate / Analyst to join our Investment Grade Corporate Private Credit team in the Bengaluru office.
IGPC / SCC invests across corporate, infrastructure debt & JV structures for global public and private companies with investment-grade profiles, with this role focused primarily on corporate credit opportunities.
We are seeking Vice Presidents / Associates / Analysts to specialize in asset management across our large, diverse and dynamic portfolio. Team members will play an integral role in ongoing portfolio company monitoring, which is a critical element of the investing process, as well as portfolio management. Team members will be aligned by Private Credit strategy.
Responsibilities
- Produce and present periodic portfolio company monitoring, including but not limited to company performance, comparison of actual results to company projections and the GS Private Credit underwriting case, ESG metrics and key company developments, particularly those with implications for investment performance
- Maintain portfolio company models as part of the asset management process
- Track company ratings on a periodic basis
- Prepare and maintain portfolio analytics for portfolio management purposes
- Participate in strategic projects regarding portfolio management, portfolio monitoring and performance tracking.
- Prepare and maintain investment and fund level statistics used for internal tracking, investor reporting as well as marketing materials
- Liaise across internal business teams and external counterparties to service investment level requests
Qualifications
- Strong academic background with an MBA (Tier 1 or 2) or Chartered Accountant or equivalent
- Relevant 3-6 years experience
- Accounting knowledge, valuation and financial modeling aptitude (required)
- Solid analytical / logical mindset and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project planning, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in Investment Grade corporate business, ratings and knowledge of Infrastructure Business (bonus)
- Ability to train juniors, review their work and people management
