Your Impact
The Windows Engineering team is responsible for the desktop, Windows server, and remote working platforms for Goldman Sachs. The team architects and engineers Microsoft operating systems and enterprise products such as Windows 11, Windows Server 2025 and the System Center suite, third-party enterprise VDI products such as Citrix XenDesktop and XenServer, as well as multiple custom in-house systems management and software delivery platforms.
The successful candidate is a strong associate‑level contributor working on critical global platforms that enable secure collaboration for business units and external clients. The role focuses on developing identity and access management solutions that support secure identity management and authentication within a tightly regulated environment.
This role is well suited to .NET engineers with experience in Windows enterprise infrastructure who understand the demands of globally distributed platforms, including high availability and secure software architecture, and who place a strong emphasis on end‑user experience.
The ideal candidate brings three to five years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated enterprise‑level expertise in Windows authentication technologies and secure development practices.
How will you fulfill your potential?
- Work with a global team of highly motivated platform engineers and software developers.
- Execute the full software product lifecycle: analysis, technical design, development, testing, release and support.
- Contribute to, and eventually lead, software engineering and re-engineering projects.
- Collaborate with engineers from other platform teams to design and implement new features.
- Engage in production troubleshooting.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline
- Professional experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting software using C# in an enterprise environment
- Experience delivering software across the full continuous delivery lifecycle, including build, test, release, and production support
- Strong understanding of software version control, continuous integration, deployment, and configuration management practices
- Demonstrated ability to debug, maintain, and enhance both new and existing codebases
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, and to collaborate across diverse engineering teams
- Willingness and ability to learn, adopt, and apply new languages, tools, and technologies as required by the platform
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with public cloud environments (AWS Certified Developer or equivalent)
- Experience with Java programming
- Experience with JavaScript and React
