Job Summary
GSAM Multi Product Funds Group (MPFG) sits at the intersection of portfolio execution, product structuring, and cross-functional collaboration. Our team oversees all aspects of Fund of Funds trading, foreign exchange transactions, and cash management.
We partner closely with Portfolio Managers and execution desks globally, as well as Sales, Operations, Compliance, and client servicing teams. This role offers a rare and meaningful opportunity to develop deep expertise across fund trading, FX execution, product development, and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Trading & Execution
- Plan and execute Fund of Funds trades across domestic and offshore fund structures
- Execute foreign exchange transactions and JPY hedging strategies

Manage intra-fund liquidity through short-term money market instruments, including call loan
Business Development & Innovation
- Collaborate with technology and operations teams to design and implement solutions that enhance execution capabilities

Partner with cross-functional business teams on new fund launches and strategic business initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Good communication skills in both Japanese and English
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders (Portfolio Managers, Sales, Compliance/Legal, Infrastructure) and external brokers
- Ability to understand and apply complex global regulatory frameworks and internal guidelines to MPFG transactions
- Commitment to a minimum tenure of 3.5 years within the team
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy
- Sound judgment, analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of mutual funds and/or alternative investment products
- 2–3 years of experience in FX trading, money market operations, or Fund of Funds portfolio management
