Responsibilities And Qualifications
Role
Goldman Sachs is seeking an analyst to join the Private Equity Capital Call (PECC) team. The PECC team is responsible for collateral management within the PECC desk within the Global Banking and Markets division and monitoring collateral account and Reconciliation of Capital Calls.


Responsibilities
• Monitor collateral accounts of private equity subscription financing facilities to ensure compliance with lending requirements and timely identification of capital activity
• Reconcile capital calls, net distributions; recallable distributions against supporting documentation and banking transactions
• Validate investor commitment, unfunded commitment and contribution data for accuracy
• Identify and track Delinquencies and assess impact on borrowing base availability
• Perform ongoing due diligence of the underlying private Equity investors by reviewing investor information and commitments and fund documentation
• Interface with GS clients who originate and invest in Private Markets
• Conduct financial statements analysis, ratio analysis, data validation and quality assurance to support credit monitoring and risk management
• Maintain and update LP information using industry data sources such as PreQin and other data sources
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Underwriting, credit Risk, Desk to resolve discrepancies and support portfolio monitoring
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, automation and reporting accuracy
• Demonstrate a good understanding of capital notices including capital calls; distributions and recallable distributions to support day-to-day portfolio monitoring


Qualifications
• Bachelor of degree in accounting/finance
• Knowledge of Leveraged Lending market
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting, private equity or hedge fund accounting
• Strong Excel skills
• Solid analytical/logical mindset
• Basic Knowledge of databases – S&P, Moody’s, Preqin, Pitchbook etc.
• Strong communication skills (clear, concise, and confident)
