JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support team deliverables by leveraging subject matter expertise to ensure successful outcomes within the team and with partner teams.
- Assist in driving team objectives, tracking milestones, and supporting the achievement of key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage dependencies, identify risks, and support operational goals.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment within their team and the wider organization.
- Identify process improvements by performing root cause analysis and partner with stakeholders to highlight and address the risks to implement solutions
- Provide ongoing coaching and day to day support to a small team to drive performance and development
- Active engagement / contribution to onsite support and employee engagement initiatives in the Operations projects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ Experience with retail consumer banking products (i.e., credit cards) bank including knowledge of quality assurance processes
- Working knowledge of Fraud Operations, Fraud Detection, Investigations, Transaction Disputes, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ability to recognize gaps in processes and escalate to necessary stakeholders
- 2+ years’ work experience managing a team
- Ability to demonstrate the understanding of risk management, compliance, and customer experience
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to drive multiple projects concurrently
- Proven ability to apply strategic thinking to complex organizational and business issues
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field
- Experience in a customer experience ,fraud operations, disputes, or data analytics role at a financial institution
- 2+ years’ experience managing a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and orally.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or providing guidance to a small team.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to act with urgency and escalate issues as and when necessary.
- Ability to liaise with different teams and stakeholders with confidence to assist with investigations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to understand complex problems and identify potential solutions.
- Able to adapt to change positively and quickly.
